Last Import is a surf-punk trio making waves in the Minnesota music scene. Emily Bjorke (lead vocals/guitar), Grace Baldwin (bass/backing vocals), and Jane Halldorson (drums) released their first studio EP, Songs For Adam, in January. The EP shows off the band’s punchy guitar riffs and energetic group vocals, but Last Import’s electric, danceable songs are best heard live. They have been keeping a busy gigging schedule, playing everywhere from First Avenue’s Mainroom, to Honey, where they opened for Foster the People.
